- Went to the London Aquarium, saw a shark feeding featuring the laziest sharks ever, imitated the grumpy looking terrapins and explored a floor we couldn't find on the maps by using the staff entrances.

- Went on the London Death Trap horror tour thing. Basically, there were a lot of almost pitch black tunnels (I ran into about 5 walls min.), six people, a guide, and a lot of zombies intent on dragging you away from the group and 'infecting' you. We went in with tightly linked arms and came out clinging to each other like octopuses/octopi, stuck back-to-front with me in front as the meat shield. We both sweat buckets and screamed bloody murder. My throat is still hoarse and scratchy. We plan on going back with a bigger group of friends.

Oh and the zombies clearly had it in for BFF and me. BFF lost a shoe to a zombie (we got it back) and I was almost dragged off (I panicked and used my surprising upper body strength to push him back into his hidey-hole). This was because I accidentally shouldered one of the zombies by the Box Office when we were getting our tickets and we were immediately the prime targets when they locked us in (it wasn't my fault, she snuck up on me!).

- Compiled a list of people we are allowed to kill with elaborate reasons and methods and a signed agreement that the other BFF would provide an alibi. We're calling it our black book.

Oh, and someone fixed the new Wonder Woman costume.

And now I'm going to bed because I am fucking exhausted.

Busy night all around, really.

I wrote my CV but I still have some student finance and other stuff to sort out and I have THE busiest day tomorrow. I'll be going to a bazillion different places in the space of a few short hours and my feet are all fucked up with blisters because I went out with my BFF earlier this week and we were walking all day. We had loads of fun though, so I guess it's alright.

I'm so tired though. And I'll be watching the England game in a restaurant with my BFF on Sunday because I have poor planning skills. But dear Dickens, I hope we don't get slaughtered.

But the funniest thing? If we do manage to beat Germany (somehow), in the next round we'll either be playing Mexico... or Argentina. Argentina who currently have Maradona as their manager.

This is clearly a conspiracy. CLEARLY.

How else would you explain this England v. Argentina thing during EVERY. SINGLE. WORLD. CUP?! *angry flail*

Also: Doctor Who finale on Saturday. I've looked around and I seem to be the only one whose initial reaction to hearing the Doctor say: "There was a goblin or a trickster or a warrior, a nameless terrible thing...nothing could stop it or hold it or reason with it." was: 'Oh shit, that's the Doctor!' Seriously? That's kind of shameful.

Edit 2: Oh, England. A poor show, really. And Robert Green. Oh, poor baby with his butterfingers. If that seriously happens again, it won't matter how cute he is. *RAGE FLAIL* The Englishmen better go to town on Algeria and Slovenia.

It's all been really disappointing so far. I think the good matches were S. Africa v. Mexico and Korea Rep. v. Greece and I missed both. And the only good thing in the Argentina v. Nigeria one was Messi and Maradonna and that's only because one's a really good player and the other's the entertaining fat-man.

Meh. I can only hope that the Germans and Aussies will entertain me tomorrow night...

I said fuck it and went to the comic shop. There were no jobs available, but it's just as well, really, as I always, always, always get lost on my way there. It's the weirdest thing too, because it's basically a straight line from the station to the shop but I always forget which straight line I'm supposed to go on. Today I was lost for an hour on the hottest day ever (which is also ridiculous because it was fucking freezing when I woke up this morning) with football fans crowded around pubs everywhere I looked.

Also, Red Hood is either selling really well or really badly. Its slot was full up and that can go both ways.

And can I please complain about the boys? THESE FREAKING FANBOYS. AAAARRRGHHHH. Who leans on a shelf while 'skimming' a comic book for ten minutes, blocking the whole damn column with their body as they do so? WHO IS INCONSIDERATE ENOUGH TO DO THAT? I'll tell you who:

EVERY. SINGLE. FANBOY. IN. THAT. BASEMENT. ALL OF THEM!

It's a damn good thing I wasn't browsing because otherwise I may have gotten extremely rude. As it was, I had to stick with standing on my tiptoes and snatching away the issues I wanted from over their shoulders while giving them the evil eye.

Picking up Red Hood #1, Return of Bruce Wayne #1 and the Superman/Batman Annual (mmm, Terry... (Oh, and kudos to schizoauthoress for that, I think I saw it when I was lurking on her journal. OH AND! I must (maybe? Weighing up the pros + cons of single issues vs. waiting for the graphic novel...) pre-order the new Batman Beyond issues. I just saw them.).

It's going to be difficult because there's a very good reason why I don't go to the comic book store to pick up single issues.
